Professor Dr . Muhammad Gulfraz has more than 35 years of teaching
and research experiences in the field of Biochemistry/ Biotechnology.
He has done master of science from University of Punjab, Lahore .
Master of Philosophy from Quaid-e-Azam University , Islamabad , MS
from University des Saarland Germany , Doctor of Philosophy from
Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad. Two post doctoral studies from
Lebniz institute Potsdam and environmental central Leipzig Germany,
One post doctoral study from Reading University UK as well as one
short study tour to China. He has published about 400 research articles
in national and international journals having 350 impact factor. Total
4000 citation and H index 37. He has supervised 16 Ph. D and 104 M.
Phil students. Additionally 50 memberships for M.phil and 30 for Ph.D
degree program
Research Interest; Screening of natural products for prevention of
various human disorders including antimicrobial , antioxidant,
antidiabetic ,anticancer, wound healing and anti depressant bioactive
compounds from plants and animal sources.
Semi synthesis of organic inhalers, (liquid and solid ) to control anxiety
and asthma. Preparation of organic food suspension to control
HDL/LDL cholesterol to control heart related disorders. Synthesized
pharmaceutical products after essential trials were submitted for
Patents.
Analytical techniques = Skill of Technological knowledge about
HPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS, AAS, UV-Visible and bio fermenter etc.,
