The Programs offered by the Department use modern teaching pedagogy, especially the well-known participant-based learning, to improve decision-making skills, communication skills and leadership potential. The main objectives of the Programs are but not limited to:

Scope

Tremendous opportunities exist in the field of Banking, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, E-Commerce and Entrepreneurship in national and multinational organizations. Business graduates are in great demand and highly paid jobs are offered to them in public and private sectors. Students who study economics here acquire problem solving skills that are valued by government and business employers, skills that can be used to examine a variety of economic policy issues e.g. problems of unemployment and inflation, policy and project evaluation, the impact of monopoly power and regulation, the impact of foreign trade, and public intervention to deal with social problems like environmental pollution.
