Ms. Kashaf Nasir
Kashaf Nasir holds a gold-medalist Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences from GC Women University Sialkot and an MPhil in Environmental Sciences from Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad. Her academic focus spans Ecotoxicology, Environmental biology, and ecology.
Research Interest
Kashaf Nasir's research interests lie in the fields of Ecotoxicology, Environmental Biology, and Ecology, with a particular emphasis on microplastics and their implications across various environmental matrices. She is dedicated to investigating the occurrence and distribution of microplastics in the air and other environmental compartments, such as soil and water systems. By studying the pathways through which microplastics infiltrate these matrices, she aims to assess their ecological impacts and potential risks to human health. Her research involves evaluating the interactions between microplastics and biotic components within these environments, exploring how they affect microbial communities, nutrient cycling, and overall ecosystem functioning.
