Dr. Waheed Ahmed Chatha is an accomplished biotechnology and crop science professional with a keen focus on agricultural biotechnology solutions. He holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from University of Gujrat, Pakistan. Dr. Waheed Ahmed Chatha has extensive research experience in molecular techniques, plant transformation, and RNA interference technologies, particularly targeting wheat transformation for insect resistance and nutrient enhancement.
Dr. Waheed Ahmed Chatha brings over a decade of teaching experience at various esteemed institutions. He has served as a Visiting Assistant Professor and Lecturer in the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology at University of Gujrat. Additionally, he has held leadership roles, including Head of Biology Department at Punjab Group of Colleges Alipur Chatha, Aspire Group of Colleges Gujrat, KIPS College Gujrat, and Ibn-e-Imam Degree Science College Jalalpur Jattan. His dedication to fostering academic growth is reflected in his dynamic teaching methods and commitment to student development.
Dr. Waheed Ahmed Chatha has published research papers in well-reputed international journals, contributing significantly to the field of plant biotechnology. His work includes advancements in wheat transformation techniques and RNA interference for crop protection. Additionally, he has actively participated in academic and scientific forums, presenting his research, further showcasing his expertise and engagement with the scientific community.
