Hina Kanwal
Hina Kanwal, currently holds dual roles as Lecturer of Biosciences, where she teaches key Zoology courses such as Biodiversity and Form & Function, and as Executive Secretary to the Vice Chancellor at Grand Asian University, Sialkot. As a lecturer, she is dedicated to fostering a deep understanding of biosciences among students, enriching their educational experience through a focus on both theoretical and practical knowledge. She also actively engages in research, guiding students in developing their research skills and contributing to ongoing scientific studies.
Prior to her current roles, Hina served as a Research Assistant at the University of Sialkot, where she made substantial contributions to various research initiatives and collaborations. She was responsible for designing complex laboratory research and fostering the development of research skills among faculty and staff. Her research focused on critical environmental challenges, particularly the impact of heavy metal pollution on water, soil, plants, and animals, and its broader implications for ecosystems and life.
Her expertise spans diverse research areas, including weed sciences, climate change, and entomology. With a robust portfolio of high-impact publications and a commitment to advancing scientific knowledge, she continues to make meaningful contributions to both her institution and the broader academic community.
