Dr. Muhammad Imran Jamil

Dr. Muhammad Imran Jamil completed his M. Phil degree in Chemistry from University of Sargodha. He was awarded with CSC scholarship for his Ph.D. studies in Chemistry. He earned his Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from College of Chemical & Biological Engineering, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China in 2020. His research is focused on the surface and interfacial science, wettability, nature inspired superhydrophobic surface, Super oleophobic surface, Slippery liquid infused porous surface (SLIPS), and their emerging applications, Organic synthesis, Polymer chemistry, and Phytochemical screening of natural products. Dr. Muhammad Imran Jamil was appointed as an Assistant Professor Chemistry in July 2020. He completed his Post doctorate from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China in 2022. Currently, he is serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Sciences at GAUS. He has published 24 research articles with total impact factor of 110 (1003 citations) in well reputed SCI impact factor international HEC recognized peer reviewed journals including ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Langmuir, Journal of Membrane Science, Advanced Materials Interfaces, Colloids and Surfaces A: Physicochemical and Engineering Aspects, RSC Advances, etc. He has presented research papers at international level conferences.
