A student-led society for mental, emotional and psychological well-being on campus.
Aim
To nurture the mental, emotional and psychological well-being of students by promoting mindfulness, resilience and positive personal growth within the university community.
Objectives
Organise awareness sessions on mental health, stress management and emotional well-being.
Provide a safe, supportive platform where students can share experiences and seek guidance.
Conduct workshops on mindfulness, self-care and personal development.
Collaborate with counsellors and professionals on student wellness initiatives.
Reduce stigma around mental health issues through open dialogue and awareness campaigns.
Code of conduct
Every member agrees to these ten commitments on joining the society.
- Members shall interact with empathy, kindness and non-judgment at all times.
- Active participation in mental health sessions, workshops and support circles is expected.
- Confidentiality of personal experiences and disclosures shared within the group must be strictly maintained.
- Members shall follow the guidance and decisions of the society’s executive team and counsellors.
- Any mockery, stigmatisation or dismissive attitude toward mental health struggles is strictly prohibited.
- Wellness materials, self-help resources and equipment must be handled with care and returned promptly.
- Members shall act as positive ambassadors of mental wellness both within and outside the society.
- Timely attendance at sessions and scheduled activities reflects commitment to the cause.
- All institutional policies and campus regulations must be observed during society engagements.
- Breach of confidentiality or disrespect toward members may lead to disciplinary review or removal.
A healthy mind is everyone’s responsibility.
