Environmental Club
A student club for conservation, sustainability and a greener campus.
Aim
To promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices, encouraging students to actively contribute to the protection of the planet.
Objectives
Provide a platform for students to engage in environmental conservation initiatives.
Organise tree plantation drives, clean-up campaigns and awareness seminars.
Conduct workshops on sustainability, recycling and climate action.
Promote eco-friendly practices within the university campus.
Collaborate with environmental organisations on conservation projects.
Code of conduct
Every member agrees to these ten commitments on joining the club.
- Members shall promote eco-conscious behaviour through their own personal example.
- Active participation in plantation drives, clean-ups and awareness campaigns is required.
- Differing approaches to sustainability and conservation shall be discussed respectfully.
- Members must follow safety guidelines and instructions set by the executive committee.
- Littering, wastage of resources or disregard for environmental guidelines will not be tolerated.
- Gardening tools, safety gear and campaign materials must be used carefully and returned.
- Members shall represent the club’s environmental values during campus and public events.
- Timely presence at plantation drives and clean-up activities is expected of all members.
- Members must follow campus safety and environmental regulations during all activities.
- Careless handling of equipment or repeated absence from drives may affect membership status.
