Introduction

One of the most innovative and rapidly growing areas, the fields of artificial intelligence are beginning to play an important role in many aspects of modern society, such as automation, manufacturing, the defense industry, commerce—like Amazon—and the healthcare industry to mention a few. Rapid advancements in manufacturing, technology and the opening of new markets around the globe, is creating a surge in the demand for robots and highly skilled robotics engineers, which is expected to grow well into the 21st century. Our goal is to provide students with meaningful preparation to meet the challenges of a global environment in world of IT. The Associate degree in Artificial Intelligence prepares its graduates for a diverse range of careers in the automation industry. The curriculum provides depth and breadth in fundamental theory and practical applications to prepare students to design, implement, and evaluate artificial intelligence to solve real world problems.

Objective

  • Upon completion of this program a student will be able to
    • Develop an interdisciplinary program that delivers profound understanding of the robotic system design by incorporating the relevant aspects of mathematics, mechanics, electronics, and computer science
    • Disseminate quality artificial intelligence education to enable our graduates to create cost-effective automated work environment that safely integrates the humans and robots for the industries
    • Develop state of the art curriculum that emphasizes practical applications and provides hands-on experience.
