Dr. Muhammad Noman
Assistant Professor
Dr. Muhammad Noman is a molecular biochemist and human geneticist with extensive expertise in human genetics, cancer genomics, functional genomics, and molecular biology. Dr. Muhammad Noman earned his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Government College University, Faisalabad, where his doctoral research led to the identification of novel genetic variants associated with hereditary hearing loss in Pakistani families, contributing to improved genetic counseling and clinical understanding of inherited disorders. He has a strong publication record in internationally indexed, peer-reviewed journals, including Scientific Reports, Genes, and Molecular Biology Reports, covering diverse areas such as human genetics, cancer biology, phytochemistry, and applied biotechnology.
Dr. Muhammad Noman has substantial hands-on research experience in DNA and RNA analysis, PCR/qPCR, genomic variant interpretation, bioinformatics tools, and cell-based assays, along with interdisciplinary expertise in phytochemical and biotechnological research. He has served as an HEC IPFP Fellow and is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Biochemistry at Grand Asian University, Sialkot, where he is actively engaged in teaching, research supervision, and academic capacity building. Previously, Dr. Muhammad Noman was associated as a Research Scientist at Faisalabad Cancer Center, where he contributed to early-onset cancer genetics and molecular profiling, with a research focus on translational genomics and precision medicine.
