Digital Payments Awareness Session & Account Opening Seminar

Grand Asian University Sialkot proudly hosted officials from the State Bank of Pakistan for an informative Digital Payments Awareness Session & Account Opening Seminar held on 13th November 2025.

The distinguished guests, Mr. Waqas Kashif Bajwa (Chief Manager, SBP BSC Sialkot), Mr. Rana Salim (Deputy Chief Manager, SBP BSC Sialkot), and Mr. Aamir Hassan (Assistant General Manager, Bank Al Habib) was warmly welcomed by Dr. Muhammad Islam, Honorable Chairman, Board of Governors, Grand Asian University Sialkot.

The session focused on digital banking awareness, secure payment systems, and financial inclusion initiatives, offering valuable insights to faculty and students.

The visit marked a successful step towards fostering collaboration between academia and the financial sector for a digitally empowered Pakistan.
