Mr. Wajahat Ali

I am Wajahat Ali, currently serving as a Lab Engineer at Grand Asian
University, Sialkot. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from
the University of Management and Technology (UMT), Sialkot, and am
currently pursuing an MS in Computer Science from the same institution.
With over a year of hands-on experience in software development, academic
research, and lab-based instruction, I specialize in guiding students in
practical computing domains including programming, artificial intelligence,
data science, and web technologies. My technical strengths include
proficiency in C++, Python, and R, along with expertise in HTML, CSS,
WordPress, MySQL, and collaborative tools like Git, Jupyter Notebook, and Google Colab.
My research experience includes work on fake news detection using NLP, Transformers-based
text summarization, and computer vision with YOLOv8, as part of both academic projects and
assistantship roles. I’ve contributed to the development of full-stack CMS-based systems and AI-
powered applications for real-world challenges. Certified in data science, machine learning, and
AI through platforms like Udemy and Codanics, I actively participate in AI hackathons and
fellowships.
