Code of conduct

Every member agrees to these ten commitments on joining the society.

  1. Members shall collaborate openly and share technical knowledge in a spirit of learning.
  2. Active participation in hackathons, coding sessions and tech workshops is required.
  3. Diverse programming approaches and technical opinions shall be respected during collaboration.
  4. Members must follow project guidelines set by the executive committee and team leads.
  5. Plagiarising code, hacking without authorisation or violating data privacy will not be tolerated.
  6. Computing equipment, software licences and lab resources must be used responsibly.
  7. Members shall represent the society’s technical excellence during competitions and events.
  8. Punctuality at hackathons and workshops is essential for effective teamwork.
  9. Members must comply with lab usage and cybersecurity policies of the institution.
  10. Code plagiarism or unauthorised system access may lead to suspension from the society.
