Code of conduct
Every member agrees to these ten commitments on joining the society.
- Members shall collaborate openly and share technical knowledge in a spirit of learning.
- Active participation in hackathons, coding sessions and tech workshops is required.
- Diverse programming approaches and technical opinions shall be respected during collaboration.
- Members must follow project guidelines set by the executive committee and team leads.
- Plagiarising code, hacking without authorisation or violating data privacy will not be tolerated.
- Computing equipment, software licences and lab resources must be used responsibly.
- Members shall represent the society’s technical excellence during competitions and events.
- Punctuality at hackathons and workshops is essential for effective teamwork.
- Members must comply with lab usage and cybersecurity policies of the institution.
- Code plagiarism or unauthorised system access may lead to suspension from the society.
