Art & Culture Society

A student society for the visual arts, cultural heritage and creative expression.

To promote creativity, preserve cultural heritage and encourage students to appreciate and participate in artistic and cultural activities.

Provide a platform for students to showcase their artistic talents.

Promote awareness and appreciation of different cultures and traditions.

Organise cultural events, art exhibitions, competitions and workshops.

Encourage creativity, innovation and self-expression through various art forms.

Preserve and celebrate local, national and international cultural heritage.

Every member agrees to these ten commitments on joining the society.

All members shall treat each other with respect, dignity and professionalism.
Members must actively participate in society meetings, events and activities.
Cultural diversity and different artistic expressions shall be respected at all times.
Members must maintain discipline and follow the decisions of the society’s executive committee.
Any form of discrimination, harassment or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
Society property, equipment and materials must be used responsibly and returned in good condition.
Members shall represent the society positively and uphold its reputation during all events.
Attendance and punctuality are expected for meetings, rehearsals and official activities.
Members must comply with the institution’s rules and regulations during all society activities.
Any violation of this code may result in disciplinary action or suspension of membership.
