Pakistan Ideology & Ethical Society
A student society for national values, ideological awareness and ethical conduct on campus.
Aim
To promote awareness of Pakistan’s ideological foundations, national values and ethical principles, fostering patriotism, integrity and moral responsibility among students.
Objectives
Organise seminars and discussions on the ideology and history of Pakistan.
Promote ethical values, honesty and civic responsibility among students.
Conduct debates, quizzes and essay competitions on national and moral topics.
Instil a sense of patriotism and respect for the nation’s founding principles.
Encourage students to become responsible and ethically upright citizens.
Code of conduct
Every member agrees to these ten commitments on joining the society.
- Members shall uphold honesty, integrity and moral conduct in all society dealings.
- Regular attendance and participation in seminars, discussions and events is mandatory.
- National symbols, ideology and differing political or ethical viewpoints must be treated with respect.
- All members shall abide by decisions made by the executive committee.
- Propagation of extremist, divisive or unethical viewpoints will not be tolerated.
- Reading materials, documents and event resources must be handled responsibly.
- Members shall conduct themselves as role models of ethical and patriotic behaviour.
- Punctuality at meetings and events is expected of every member.
- Compliance with university regulations is mandatory during all society engagements.
- Serious ethical violations may result in suspension or expulsion from the society.
