Grand Asian University Represents Pakistan at IWGM 2026 as National Coordinator of UI GreenMetric 
Grand Asian University Sialkot (GAUS), proudly represented Pakistan at the 12th International Workshop on UI GreenMetric Sustainable University Rankings (IWGM 2026), held at Umwelt-Campus Birkenfeld (UCB), Rhineland-Pfalz, Germany.
Representing GAUS and Pakistan, Dr. Jehanzeb Islam, Pro Vice Chancellor & Member BOG, participated in this prestigious global gathering in his capacity as National Coordinator of UI GreenMetric for Universities of Pakistan.
As part of the international engagement, he participated in the UI GreenMetric Steering Committee Meeting, an invited forum bringing together representatives and National Coordinators from across the global UI GreenMetric network. The official IWGM 2026 program focuses on advancing sustainable campuses through governance, digitalization, and integrated performance.
The presentation highlighted the growing efforts and achievements of Pakistani higher education institutions in promoting sustainability, green campus initiatives, climate action, responsible resource management, research, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
