Rankings

Global and national university rankings serve as vital benchmarks of academic quality, research impact, and institutional excellence, offering universities a lens to evaluate their performance against international standards while enhancing their visibility, credibility, and competitiveness on the world stage. Recognizing this significance, Grand Asian University Sialkot (GAUS) remains firmly committed to strengthening its institutional standing through sustained participation in reputable ranking systems.

As part of this commitment, GAUS proudly serves as the National Coordinator for UI GreenMetric World University Rankings, currently holding a rank of 1054 globally and 56th in Pakistan (2024/2025 edition), reflecting the university’s dedication to sustainability and environmentally responsible campus practices. GAUS has also achieved a Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) score of 81.76, underscoring its strong internal quality assurance standards. Furthermore, GAUS is on track to make its debut appearance in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings by 2027, reaffirming its commitment to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through impactful research, community engagement, and sustainable institutional practices.

Building on this progress, the university is actively working towards securing a position in the QS World University Rankings and the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings, in recognition of its growing academic and research contributions.
