Strengthening Collaboration | LPDC Bahria University Visits SialkotIn furtherance of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between PDC Grand Asian University Sialkot and LPDC Bahria University on May 18, 2025, PDC GAUS welcomed a delegation from LPDC Bahria University to Sialkot on June 15–16, 2025.
The two-member delegation, comprising Mr. Atif Shehzad Akbar, Director LPDC Bahria University, and Mr. Akib Zaheer, Assistant Director LPDC Bahria University, engaged in productive discussions aimed at translating the MOU into tangible outcomes.
Key highlights of the visit included:
A meeting with the Vice Chancellor and Pro-Vice Chancellor of GAUS, during which the delegation was briefed on the distinct dynamics of Sialkot’s renowned cottage industry.
Detailed deliberations with members of the Professional Development Centre (PDC) on potential avenues of cooperation for jointly conducting professional development trainings tailored to the needs of Sialkot’s industrial sector.
To provide the delegation with direct exposure to Sialkot’s industrial landscape, PDC GAUS arranged visits to the following organizations:→ Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industries
→ MD Medical Devices Industries
→ Surgical Instrument Manufacturers Association of Pakistan (SIMAP)
→ AirSial
