Department of International Relations & Politics

International Relations plays an increasingly central role in navigating the complexities of a globalized world, making it one of the most vital fields of study today. As we witness rapid geopolitical shifts, transnational challenges, and evolving economic partnerships, the relevance of understanding global dynamics grows in tandem. In our modern, interconnected world, the mechanisms behind international diplomacy, foreign policy, global governance, conflict resolution, and even international trade would be unimaginable without the strategic frameworks provided by International Relations. It is the backbone that shapes global cooperation, enabling us to analyze and address complex global issues.

The Department of International Relations at Grand Asian University, Sialkot, was established with the vision of preparing students, diplomats, and researchers who possess a deep understanding of global political systems, foreign affairs, as well as their practical applications across diverse global domains.

We are offering programs of ADP and BS in International Relations, designed to provide students with a solid foundation in both the fundamental theories and advanced analytical aspects of the discipline.

Our faculty members, who are experts in a wide range of sub-disciplines—including strategic studies, diplomacy, international law, and regional politics—are committed to upholding the highest standards of teaching and research. They actively engage in research on contemporary issues such as global security, foreign policy analysis, and international political economy, ensuring that our students are exposed to the latest global developments and insights. The department fosters a dynamic environment for academic discourse and policy research, connecting scholars, analysts, and practitioners from around the globe. As an institution, we are dedicated to shaping the next generation of diplomats, policymakers, and global professionals who will lead the way in solving the most pressing challenges of the future.
