Educational Background
Zainab Salma completed MS in Computer Science at the University of Sialkot, with a
specialization in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). She is currently undertaking doctoral
research in Computer Science as a PhD student at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid,
Spain.
Research Contribution
Zainab’s research focuses on the intersection of HCI and educational technology, specifically
in gamification, serious games, and user-centered design. Her master’s thesis examined
interactive learning environments and usability studies. She is an active member of the
Information Technology in Education Laboratory (ITELab) at Rey Juan Carlos University,
contributing to projects that explore how digital tools can enhance engagement and learning
outcomes.
Her work has been published in leading Q1 and Q2 journals in the fields of HCI, educational
technology, and computer science.
