Dr. Fazail Asrar Ahmed

Dr. Fazail Asrar Ahmed is a distinguished legal scholar and academic, currently serving as Assistant Professor of Law at Grand Asian University, Sialkot. With more than three decades of experience in higher education, he has made significant contributions to teaching, research, and academic administration in the fields of Islamic Law, Corporate Law, and Constitutional Studies. Dr. Fazail is presently a Post-Doctoral Scholar at the Islamic Research Institute (IRI), International Islamic University, Islamabad and holds a PhD in Islamic Law and Jurisprudence from the Sheikh Zayed Islamic Centre, University of the Punjab, Lahore, where his doctoral research examined the Principle of Public Interest and its legislative applications. His academic background also includes multiple postgraduate qualifications: LL.M degrees from University Law College, P.U Lahore and University of Lahore in Corporate & Comparative Constitutions and Commercial Law. In addition, he has earned diplomas in Taxation Laws, Arabic Language, Linguistics, and Islamic Law, reflecting his interdisciplinary expertise. He has also been an examiner for leading public universities for over 30 years. His teaching areas include Corporate Law, Civil Procedure Code, Comparative Constitutional Laws, Law of Evidence, World Legal Systems, Criminology and Intellectual Property Laws at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Furthermore, he has authored 38 research publications in reputable national and international journals. His research interests encompass Islamic jurisprudence, constitutional and corporate governance reforms, digital evidence, cybersecurity law, artificial intelligence and Shari’ah, environmental criminology, and contemporary legal challenges. His scholarship demonstrates a strong commitment to integrating classical Islamic legal thought with emerging technological and global legal developments.
