Dr. Tanvir Ahmed is a graduate from NED University, Karachi and completed higher studies MS leading to PhD in Computer Science from the UK with specialization in Software Engineering. He underwent specialist trainings on software projects management in China and locally in public and corporate sectors. He participated in large number of professional, technical, organizational courses and workshops at national and international levels. Number of PhD & MPhil thesis are supervised by him. He is an author of books/ précis, journals articles, conference papers, project reports and is a valuable member of international and local scientific journals’ boards of editors. His personal and professional growth is systematic, methodological, progressive and institutionalized. He is dedicated to his profession and committed to make difference. He is a recipient of Scholarships in Matric and MS leading to PhD abroad (UK). He also got conferred upon Sitara-i-Imtiaz in 2011.
He has enriched experience in both public and corporate sectors. Joined Grand Asian University Sialkot in November 2023. His efforts are to lead professionally qualified team and develop students and infrastructure at par with the market, capable of exploiting technologies and competent enough to challenge computer-based issues at varied levels. His passion is quality education in this region and producing true technologists and skilful professionals to lead the market.
