Excited to share highlights from the Young Islamic Banking Professionals (Y-IBP) Program and Awareness for Academic Faculty in Islamic Banking Program (AAF-IBP) at Grand Asian University, Sialkot!

Started with a heartfelt Tilawat and National Anthem, followed by a warm welcome from Vice Chancellor Pro Dr Mujahid Kamran, also welcomed by Registrar Dr Saqib Siddiq and Director Student Affairs Dr Tahir.

Chief Manager SBP BSC Sialkot, Mr. Waqas Kashif Bajwa introduced SBP’s initiatives for promoting Islamic banking and the Y-IBP program. Deputy Chief Manager, Rana Salim Saleem shared an encouraging note for students and details on bank internship opportunities.

A Shariah Scholar delved into the need and importance of Islamic banking, basic concepts, and comparisons with conventional financing modes. A representative from Meezan Bank discussed promotion strategies for Islamic Banking.. Wrapped up with closing remarks from Dr Arsalan Rafi, Dean MS&E.
