Ms. Sahar Shehzadi

Lecturer

Ms. Sahar Shehzadi is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Software
Engineering at Grand Asian University Sialkot, bringing a strong combination of academic
excellence, research expertise, and diverse teaching experience. She holds a Master’s degree in
Information Security from National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan,
where she developed a strong foundation in modern cryptographic systems and secure
communication technologies.
Her primary research interests lie in Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), Lightweight
Cryptography, Blockchain Security, and Secure Communication Systems.
Ms. Shehzadi has published her work in ISCAS 2025, through a collaborative research project
with Dr. Ayesha Khalid at Queen’s University Belfast (QUB). Their research explored the
integration and performance benchmarking of Ascon (a lightweight cryptography standard) with
ML-KEM (FIPS-203) (https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/abstract/document/11043792 ), contributing
valuable insights into practical PQC implementations.
Before joining her current institution, Ms. Shehzadi served as a faculty member at the University
of Gujrat, gaining experience in teaching and student mentoring. She has taught courses
including Web Engineering, Object-Oriented Programming, Digital Logic Design, Operating
Systems, and Information Security. Ms. Shehzadi is dedicated to advancing research in Post-
Quantum Cryptography and related security protocols, aiming to contribute to the development
of efficient and robust cryptographic solutions.
