Maleeha Zainab is an enthusiastic academic, focused on bringing innovation and creativity
to the field of Information Technology through teaching and research. She holds both a BS
(Hons.) and M.Phil. in Information Technology from the University of Gujrat, Pakistan.
Currently, she serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science & Software
Engineering at Grand Asian University, Sialkot. With a strong foundation in teaching and
research, she brings a dynamic and engaging approach to the classroom, focused on bridging
theoretical knowledge with real-world technological challenges.
Her academic interests lie at the intersection of Cybersecurity, Machine Learning, Natural
Language Processing (NLP), Information Retrieval, and Malicious Activity Detection.
She is particularly enthusiastic about developing intelligent systems that can identify,
analyze, and prevent emerging cyber threats using data-driven approaches. Her work explores
how smart technologies and semantic understanding can enhance digital security, especially
in the age of growing cybercrime and information overload.
In addition to her teaching role, Maleeha is an active contributor to the research community.
She has presented a publication on IoT-based healthcare systems at a recognized international
conference, showcasing how interconnected devices can improve patient care and
monitoring. She is currently working on a new research article focused on cybercrime
detection using NLP and semantic web techniques. Through her academic efforts, she aims to
empower future technologists while contributing to meaningful advancements in secure,
intelligent computing systems.
