the conferral of an Honorary Doctorate Degree upon Dr. Muhammad Islam,
Chairman, Board of Governors, Grand Asian University Sialkot,
by the Government of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau.
The Honorary Doctorate in ‘Civilizing Enlightenment’ was awarded by His Excellency, the Former Prime Minister of Guinea-Bissau, acknowledging Dr. Muhammad Islam’s lifelong dedication to education, healthcare, institutional development, and nation-building.
This global honour stands as a testament to his remarkable vision, tireless efforts, and outstanding contributions to the progress of society.
The grand celebration ceremony was held at the Auditorium of Grand Asian University Sialkot on Thursday, October 23, 2025, attended by distinguished guests including
Prof. Dr. Mujahid Kamran (Vice Chancellor, GAUS),
Dr. Eice Muhammad (Sitara-e-Imtiaz),
along with the Principals and Faculty of Islam Medical and Dental Colleges ( Sialkot and Gujranwala), senior consultants from Islam Central Hospital, Islam Teaching Hospital, New Life Hospital, and respected faculty and directors of Grand Asian University Sialkot.
This entire ceremony was gracefully organized by a great human being and a renowned educationist,
Prof. Dr. Eice Muhammad (Sitara-e-Imtiaz),
whose commitment and heartfelt efforts made this celebration truly exceptional.
The event featured beautiful recitations, inspiring speeches, and an emotional address by Dr. Muhammad Islam, who humbly shared his gratitude, values, and vision for a brighter, knowledge-driven future.
