The faculty of Computing & Information Technology in GAUS has a clear mission to establish state of the art Computer Science education hub as a centre of excellence in the region with an aim to compete world class expertise. In this direction standards set by National Computer Education and Accreditation Council (NCEAC) are being followed and accredited. However, other quality education instruments, like, Outcome Based Education (OBE), Internship programs, Final Year Projects, industrial visits, seminars, competitions and exhibitions are used to achieve quality standards.
The driving force at any university is the faculty and we are proud that our faculty members are involved with industrial projects and their industrial experience enables our students to excel when they enter the market after graduation. Curriculum Review Committee and industrial board ensure the contents match the market trends, new developments but within HEC and NCEAC guidelines to produce industry ready graduates.
For students, we believe that the ethical aspect in their education is as important as technical aspect. Therefore, we have specialized courses in our curriculum which have been designed by the experts with decades of academic and industrial experience.
