Role and functions

  1. Notifications/Gazettes of the University Examinations
  2. Issuance Grade Sheets, Transcripts of Awards, Provisional Certificates, Degrees and other
    Certificates relevant to Examination matters to the Undergraduate and Graduate students.
  3. Issuance Schedule/Date Sheet and Exams Instructions for the Conduct of Mid and Final Term
  4. Pay regular visits of Examination Centers during scheduled Examinations
  5. Forward cases for appointment of Invigilator and Examination Inspectors for inspecting the
    Examination centers, Paper Setters/Examiners etc. to the Vice Chancellor for approval, wherever
    applicable.
  6. Assign any duty to any Faculty/Officer by Examinations Branch during the Exam Days.
  7. Ensure all tasks are being performed smoothly as per schedule, roadmap, rules & regulations.
  8. Ensure the record and safe custody of the degrees, transcripts of awards and provisional
    certificates etc.
  9. Ensure the safe custody of the result notifications, award lists, answer sheets and other exam
    allied material.
  10. Ensure the conduct of examinations in accordance with the Academic Calendar.
  11. Ensure that the academic department adhere to the Approved Policies/SOPs for the conduct
    of Examinations.
  12. Ensure the smooth conduct and organization of the University convocation along with the
    Registrar Office.
  13. Act as Secretary of University Semester Committee, University Migration Committee and
    University Unfair Means Committee.
  14. Responsible for ensuring and maintaining strict secrecy of all information regarding the
    examinations
  15. Verification of the Transcripts and Degrees whenever required.
  16. Propose the revision of examination fee and certificate fee etc. to the competent authority
    from time to time.
  17. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Vice Chancellor/Board.
  18. Any other task assign by the authorities.
