Mechanical Technology
The main educational objective of the undergraduate program of the Mechanical Technology is to produce engineers who advance professionally to roles of greater mechanical engineering responsibilities and/or by transitioning into leadership positions in business, government, and/or education. To accomplish this objective, we have a combination of young and experienced faculty. The Department values integrity, diversity, critical thinking, impartial judgment, change, innovation, and collegiality. The core principles of the Department are; commitment to a mastery of fundamentals, creativity, social awareness, leadership skills, and professionalism. These qualities define the department, its program, and its graduates. We have well equipped laboratories for the undergraduate classes and the equipment is being upgraded on continuous basis to meet our objective.
To produce professionals, equipped with strong knowledge, skills, ethics, creativity and innovation, able to solve engineering problems faced by humanity across the globe.
