Dr. Sardar Usman is working as an Assistant professor in the department of Computer Science and IT as a regular faculty member of Grand Asian University Sialkot. He has strong ambitions to foster the acquisition of a base of concepts and learning skills to facilitate further learning and thinking. He guide students in the evaluation of evidence, critical thinking, argument development, verbal and written expression, and the application of general principles to novel settings. He also served as Head of Computer Science department and taught variety of computer science courses including Machine learning, Data Mining, Data science Tools and Techniques, Artificial intelligence, Advance Database etc. Dr. Usman have supervised 18 MPhil Thesis related to applied Machine/Deep Learning in different domains. He also participated as a member organizing committee of different international research conferences including EAI Conference on Smart Societies, Infrastructure, Technologies and Applications, SCITA 2017, High Performance Computing Saudi Arabia (HPC Saudi), 2018 at KAU, Jeddah, KSA and First Middle East meeting of the Intel Extreme Performance Users Group, Intel XPUG, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), 2018 . His research interest includes High performance computing (HPC), Big Data and Applied Machine/Deep learning.
